Can i use the harley davidson shield logo and input my own text in it like a name of a music group with out trademark problems So if i post it like on a social media (facebook, twiter, ) and on my cd's and sweaters hats etc... Is that bad

Why not pirate the McDonalds or Kmart logo while your at it? Harleys were cool in 1970.

This should be in the law section, but if you make money off it, they can easily sue you for trademark infringement. I wouldn't do it. Be creative, make your own logo.

Harley Davidson makes 60% of it's corporate profit on that trademarked design. Infringe upon that and I would be highly disappointed not to find some corporate official unloading some major legal whoop *ss upon you in order to justify and continue his corporate yearly salary.

Harley has a very large team of lawyers, that go after people just like you. I would not risk it.
