Question: Is big bear choppers good ?
(Posted by: on 2012-01-31 22:38:16)
I saw some really good looking bikes , but is it a good company , or do the bikes get broken and fu*cked after a while, Harley- Davidson is known to be a good bikes company, is big bear the same or even close, or is it like that Honda and Suzuki and all other fake companies. if not what is a good chopper- style company ? |

It seems they are out of business as of Dec 2011. cyrilhuzeblog.com/ 2011/ 12/ 11/ big-bear-choppers-out-of-business-update/ They are (were?) over priced under ridden bikes only suitable for riding short show off rides. I would go with one of the (fake?) companies like Honda or Suzuki, Kawasaki or Yamaha that have been known to be dependable for decades. |

Their choppers had problems where the frame would snap at the neck. Probably find something on youtube about it. Honestly I can't recommend a "chopper style " company, they are slapped together junk produced to make a fast buck during the whole american chopper/ motorcycle mania craze. America has since moved onto storage auctions and pawn shops. Honda makes the Fury. I guess that's a chopper. I agree with the other poster, get a harley. Used ones are more affordable than ever. |

No, they were not good. Choppers in general are not good motorcycles. Too limiting. Respectfully, if you want a Harley-Davidson, then by all means buy a Harley. Personally, I recommend buying a bike for traveling. No better way to see the country than from the seat of a motorcycle. Good Luck |

Get a Harley or a Kawasaki Vulcan. Stay away from big bear and any other custom, I make bikes to look at not ride, company. |
