Is the triumph 675 a comfortable bike ?
I'm 6 foot 200 pounds, the triumph is a bike I have had my eyes on for a while but any tall people give some feed back on comfortability.

2000 triumph sprint 955i overheating?
I go to start and the bike doesn't want to start cold drains the battery til i got to push start it until it turns over. after a minute of going very easy the temp is over 200 Fand a little after 230 then 250 and I shut it off.the radiator fan is melted and the radiator blew when I let it idle for a minute.the orange check engine light is on all of the time.water will shoot out of the radiator without the cap, I havn't checked the pump physically though.and the oil light is never on, exept before you start it of course.after it's warm, the bike runs like right off the showroom other than overheating of course.I've worked on bikes for years but never fuel injected bikes or bikes this big so any help would be great.you can even email me at Jasen harris2 hotmail.comif you feel like working with me, it would be highly apreciated

How often do you really need to check valve clearances on a motorcycle (Triumph Daytona 675)?
I have a 2006 Triumph Daytona 675 with 15K miles and I was wondering how critical it is to check the valve clearances? I know the desmodromic valves on Ducati's need to be checked religiously, but I am curious as to folk's experiences with other makes and models.My first bike was a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 650R that I put 22K trouble free miles on before it was totalled in a hit and run accident. Never checked the valves and never had any issues.

Triumph Tiger Brake Disk Bolts?
Looking to replace the front disc bolts on my Triumph Tiger 955. Triumph want almost five quid per bolt. Why can't I just buy some pan head hex bolts from ebay at a fraction of the price. Not got a straight answer on the Triumph forums, so throwing it open.Thanks so far, but I think your missing my point still. I have no argument with the safety issue, just the cost Example. BMW K1200R 1.26 each. Aprilia RSV1000 0.15 each. I can even buy titanium bolts cheaper than the triumph ones.
