I have a 83 honda shadow vt750, when i turn key on headlight is already bright before i start the bike.?
My question is, would that indicate a bad rectifier regulator and not a stator since the bike is not running?

passed my bike tests but am restricted to 33bhp for two years sucks balls i know,want to know what would the performance be like on all three restricted. Also before the comments flood in about insurance and that malarkey its not that bad about 350 for a hornet and a few hundred more for the cbr ninja. i like all three bikes but want to know how they would be restricted i.e top speed, acceleration yada yada yada, also please no comments like " don't restrict a sports bike its pointless and gay" or that childish crap you sometimes see morons spouting out. many thanks
How to lower a honda pan st1100?
I bought a 02 honda pan european st1100 and my legs are too short. i am on my toes trying to balance it. any way of lowering the bike. will have to sell again if unable to lower it.
Are slip on exhaust pipes interchangeable if you put one for ninja on honda? where is the cat on a Honda RC51?
Just bought an '01 honda rc51 and was wondering if anyone knows whether or not slip on mid pipes are interchangeable whether you are putting them on a honda rc51, a honda cbr, or yamaha, kawasaki, or whatever other brands might be out there. Also, where is the catalytic converter located on a Honda RC51. Im just looking for a set of shorty style midpipes that i can install on my RC51 without spending more than 500 bucks. Ive seen Two brother's slips ons that look nice and several other brands of pipes that are in the 500 dollar range but ive also found some shorty mufflers that are made for yamaha r1's and Ninja's that i think would look better than the pipes ive found for Honda rc51's. I was wondering if i could put them on my bike, or if i would have to severely change all of the plumbing and or remove the cat or whatever the case may be. I just want something simple that looks great without being too loud or breaking the bank. thanks for your time.
